Association was a 60s vocal pop group. Maybe somewhat akin to 5th Dimension “Up up and away”.

Despite their image they did their fair share of drugs. Terry’s big song was Cherish. May he RIP.

Terry Kirkman also wrote “Requiem for the masses” which was a particularly strange and difficult vocal piece that the Association actually performed live. Probably boring to many but it was different for its time. The church choir like intro kills me.

If I recall correctly they played their own instruments - not just a vocal band...

I could be wrong, but I do recall promoting one of their tours through the western US states and watching them in multiple Venuses and states...
