My brother and his wife are actual anti-vaxers. SIL has been involved with RFK for many years regarding this.
They have three sons, ages 21,16, and 12, and I don’t think they’re ever sick. (One conveniently has a stomach ache on Sundays just before church, which miraculously disappears at noon. Dad called it “Sundayitis”.)

I’ve been an “anti-vaxxer” since just before my first child was born. Took a trip down that rabbit hole and never returned. None of the vx except maybe one has actually been true placebo tested for safety. They are always tested against another vx. If one wants to be healthy, avoid childhood diseases, avoid chronic disease, and reduce cancer risk, there is no substitute for diet and nutrition + sunlight, fresh air and exercise. If vaccines ever became “mandatory” ie. we’re coming to your house to plunge a needle in your arm, I would be inclined to treat it as assault with a deadly weapon, requiring deadly force in self-defense.
