Brutal movie with 2 extended rape scenes but the longer movie is great story telling. The cut version was trash.

The movie sucks but calling it racsist is just stupid.
I watched it all the way through on pay cable. It was the first film I ever saw where the cavalry appeared at the end to save the bad guys.
But one thing stuck with me. The scene at the roller-skating rink started in color, and then Cimino slowly bled the color out until it looked like a Matthew Brady photograph in motion.
