I agree. I liked his early books, especially “The Stand,” but I started getting tired of him not long after “Christine” and “Pet Sematary.”
I read “It” and “The Tommyknockers” and was underwhelmed. “The Dark Half” finally did it for me. I found it formulaic and dull.
