Were you old enough to know and understand what was going on re Nixon V. JFK?
Did you watch the televised quasi "debate", or hear it on the radio, IF you even heard it at all?
JFK was an anti-Commie, but THAT was about THE only non-lefty thing about him AND he was an idiot, whose father pushed him and his brother Bobby was his "brain"!
The anti-Commie thing went out the window with Bay of Pigs. That would never have happened with Nixon. He knew Khrushchev was all bluster. He wasn’t going to start WW3 over Cuba.
And Bobby “the brain” was not that smart either, as was proven in his debate with Ronald Reagan. Bobby was so destroyed by Reagan that he wanted the person that arranged the debate to be fired.
