The Church has had vastly worse Popes. Its gotten over them. Dante stuck a bunch of them in the “Inferno”.

Unfortunately, popes of the past didn’t have the kind of reach the present fake one does. As far as I’m concerned, the office of the Holy See has been unoccupied since Benedict’s death.
