everyone needs to realize that whatever social media platform you are on there are agents of foreign governments on that platform who's purpose is to represent the interest of their country. years ago free republic did not get very much of this but today I would guess that there are several agents for both China and Russia on here along with several other smaller nations.
It doesn’t even take that many resources. Heck, you could use an AI program like chat GPT to spam message boards and comment sections, or at least create the content of the messages. Change public opinion, change the course of a war, all through a couple of low-level employees at a desk in Moscow.
