Although normally I might agree with you about my ignorance, to me its legendary, but none the less, Putin crossed the line when he crossed the border and began his campaign against Ukraine and that changed everything.

And seriously, calling the Ukrainians “nazis” is so overdone that I don’t even know what that word “nazi” means anymore. Instead, I see Soviets, not nazis. They have been the consistent evil in my lifetime, not the nazis.

If Putin would have dumped all he had on Biden and the bio labs and whatever else was going on in Ukraine while Trump was still President, then I would be more inclined to believe him now and support his ambitions.

But that’s not what happened. Instead, Putin has verified with his actions that the Soviets are still with us, the same as before. Evil then and evil now.

His trade of giving Russian prisoners their freedom if they take Ukraine’s freedom from away from them is just too insane and too evil for me to accept. It is what it is.

I gave him the benefit of doubt for a long time, but my former “trust but verify” has left the building.
