I just read about an ev that caught fire, was put out, than burst into flames in the impound lot two days later.
A self-driving taxi would be wonderful. No accidents, no insurance too buy, no need for the highway patrol. It would be cheaper to own.
The problem is the state owning them. Cramming people together in buses will never be accepted.
