I grew up in Montgomery, and it is a bigger dink-hole than Mobile with a smaller population. Sure it has the state government and Maxwell AFB, but they can be a liability. Da Gump is full of state workers and Air Force personnel who think they should be in charge of everything. That’s something I do not miss.
I went to school there for my freshman year. I spent more time at Auburn (don’t tell my dad - Roll Tide) than I did in Montgomery. And Mobile is definitely less dinky.
