I had that Audi Fox!
It was the only car getting through the snow in the Blizzard of ‘78 on Rt 128! Loved it!
how about it. It just wouldn’t quit.
I bought it for 400 bucks from my cousin - car salesman - the speedometer was pegged @ 134k.
I asked him what the actual mileage was and he said...what do you care..it’s 400 bucks.
I’d get parts from a boneyard (wondering if this was the part that put this car here) or cheaper than Audi parts from Volkswagen for the same part.
I re-wired the starter, drove it for a couple of years, and sold it for 400 bucks to the next-door neighbor’s kid who is now a cop. I told him everything I knew about the car but he wanted it anyway. his first car.
Audi dropped the nameplate then Volkswagen resurrected it.
