Item 2: The chicoms aren’t the only bleepers with alzheimers problems. We gottem too. LJ posted above (1450) a chart showing increases in a bunch of ailments over the past 30 years with alz up 299%.
I’ve watched this happen and I’ve long thot that krap food is going to do us in. In My own favorite grocery store the freezer that holds TV dinner kinds of stuff is four times longer than the whole meat counter. Taken together the whole frozen/cooler junk food dept is more than four times bigger than the fresh produce section. Between aluminum and all the dozens of other additives listed on those packies there is a death sentence written for those who eat off the rack or from the fast fud spreaders.
I don’t, and never have, eaten that super processed krap. For me “processing” is limited to cutting up a cow. Or boiling a spud. I use myself as proof of what I say. Except for running a little slower I have zero health issues, well, except for that attitude thing. Turned 81 yesterday.
In my earlier working days I frequently had gangs of guys working for me, sometimes camping out, living in a bunch one place or another. I always oversaw buying food and usually getting it cooked. I never let ‘em buy krap and the only complaint I ever got was that they were putting on weight. Every one who ever worked for me is still alive and healthy. They seem to have followed my lead for life and are well off for it. All are in their 80’s or thereabouts. The chicoms are on their own. Can’t help ‘em.
In terms of running a manufacturing bizness I buy a lot of stuff. I do my part by holding them to the fire quality -wise. Can’t always control where stuff comes from but I can indeed hold sellers to quality standards. Turns out the chicoms don’t have a price advantage when they meet the same standards everyone else uses.
I’ve never bought pre-prepared food, always buy ingredients, that’s it. Never cooked in oil except a short try in my 30s, gave up shortly after that. Hardly ever eaten out, either. I’m kind of odd that way.
PS - last vax i had was at age 10, going to a third world country with parents, got jabbed with something.
