I read this book a couple years ago & it was an excellent read imo
Kinda tells the story of the roots of the fibbers (99% are good) when the feds LEO had to be sent in to Indian Territory (known as Oklahoma today) to stop the white men from murdering Osage indian women in order to inherit their “headright” ( the Osage tribe pooled the mineral rights on their reservation & gave each tribal member on the rolls at that time as fractional interest in their oil royalties)
Kinda hate to see diniro get a part in this movie, but I can’t wait to see it regardless.
