Why don’t we do what they do and hold them to their rules?

We need to socialize the legal system.
Everyone should have ‘right’ to legal advice and the government should set all the prices. Lawyer fees have to be price fixed, over billing is a federal offense with loss of privileges to practice in courts.
The only part that shouldn’t be socialized is the part of damages against lawyers if they lose your case or make any mistakes judged by other lawyers.
All court costs should be a ‘right’ and we should be able to raise taxes on wealthy lawyers to pay for it.
Prosecutors have to do jail time of any defendant that they withhold evidence from, even if they are found innocent, and the State Bar Associations have to provide legal-malpractice insurance by gathering fees from all lawyers, to pay for it.

The objective of the persecutors is not just to get Eastman, but to send a message to everyone in the legal world that if people publicly challenge the dominant narrative, they too will be broken on the wheel of financial ruin. Judging by the tone of the mainstream media, the tactic is working fine.
