TY TIK!! For the ping and for the great idea. Holiday canning lids!

Tattler colors have red and green lids!

I bought an embarrassingly large number of Tatter lids; my only excuse is I only have two boxes left as the 24 box Supply I ordered years ago. I use them almost exclusively, and only use the metal Lids when I have something to give away.

they are a bit tricky to use, but once you figure it out it's like anything else, it just becomes easy. Mainly, I had to quit being lazy! These Lids really like you to follow the procedure and not cheat, like I got away with on the Ball lids. If anybody needs help with them, just let me know. I bought my Lids without knowing how to use them, but I was determined to make it work because I don't like wasting money. But mainly, how embarrassing would it be to admit I bought 288 Lids I can't use, LOL

My favorite colors are the yellow and purple, so I got extra of those.

Got my lids yesterday! Perfect timing I have a whole bunch of Turkey stock.

I’m going to try the colors, although they shouldn’t be any different than the white ones:-)

And I’m going to try a couple of the Tattler disposables. I figure stock is a good thing to practice on, I can redo it if I have to without ruining it.

It’s on the only one excited about canning lids.

Oh I forgot the main new thing I’ll be using is the All-American canner!! if I can get the lid on, lol.

For those that have one, how do you store it? The manual said something about store the lid and canner separately so you don’t get moisture condensation? I really like putting the lid inside the counter to save space, is that a problem?
