Exactly. Camouflage is a great survival tactic—and there are so many variations on that theme.
My favorite old Y2K prep advice was to get red tape and a thick black marker so that if things got really bad you could write “danger—quarantine” in big scrawled letters on the door and put on the red tape...

Or these days, just write *COVID* and that will terrify much of the population.
