More than a few days worth.

Don’t forget salt in prepper supplies. It is critical for survival and there aren’t many places in the US where it can be easily gotten.

I save the glass pasta sauce jars since they have a built in gasket. While I would never use them for canning, they are great for storing herbs and salt. They are hermetically sealed and the salt has never caked up so they obviously keep moisture out.

good idea, salt is probably one of those things most of us take for granted. I have some of it in my food storage but not nearly enough. It was pretty heavy to move cross country. Maybe I didn’t even need to bother, at the moment it is cheap enough.

Thanks...I've read a ton of supply lists and can't ever remember salt being featured if it's even on there.
