In Ohio had a FGT ladies sleep over party. Country Inn n Suites. Got three rooms for 8 of us. Used breakfast room for evening.
Had southern meal . BBQ, grits, slaw, hush puppies and fried Green tomatoes. ladies asked to dress era. (30s 40s) Very creative gals. Prize for winner paperback snd DVD of whistle stop snd FGT. I was surprised only one lady had seen it. None read book
We used the pool n hot tub, ate, watched movie. Had dessert/ red velvet cake n second feature - Somewhere in Time.for those wanting to stay up later. All did.
