Flew into NYC yesterday with my long term girlfriend ahead of boarding a fall foliage cruise tomorrow.
To say that NYC has a lot of illegals in the city may be an understatement.
To say they’re all struggling for resources is an overstatement.
Here’s what I’m seeing first hand:
1. So many around the pot dispensaries getting high, majority Mexicans with no English and cash for drugs. (Yes, I understand Spanish)
2. Where are they getting money for scooters? It’s likeso many of them on scooters, messing up traffic, don’t know the laws here or don’t care.
3. Lots of them trying to sell fruit cups on street corners.
4. Witnessed several pick pocket incidents in times square.
5. Huge mexican independence day gathering in times square last night. They tried overcrowding times square, NYC PD would have none of that. Have to say, NYC PD has their stuff together and quickly, professionally reopened the streets, shepherded the “celebrants” back to a small confined area and appeared to do that without incident.
As hamstrung as the police are, they are far and away so much better than Chicago PD which I see almost daily when working in the city. CPD seems to have surrendered. NYPD doesn’t appear to have done that, at least yet.
Oh, and AOC and her ilk are getting PUMMELED here in public opinion. NYC has from what we see and hear, become a BUILD THE WALL Town. People here seem to have had more than enough.

Thanks for the report.
There’s Fall foliage already?
