I taught pronouns all the time. “Don’t start a sentence with “Me and..., Him and ... or Her and ...” and “don’t use a subject pronoun after a preposition.” There were lots of other rules I told them were important for educated English speakers too. I shudder when I listen to today’s speech, not to say a word about these new “chosen” pronouns. I’m so glad I’m old.
I remember Bill Clinton, in one of the 1992 Presidential debates, using the pronoun “I” after a preposition.
