I think she nicked this from a low-carb recipe I saw online. Me, I adore a bacon sandwich, but I think it’s best served if you replace the bread with hamburger patties, the butter with cheese, and the bacon with more bacon. :)

Sounds like You would like Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf.

And You can change/put whatever items inside the mix, no need to follow the exact ingredients, but be sure to use the eggs and crackers or breadcrumbs for the binder so it makes nice slices. I make it in a bread pan and it is lined with partially cooked thick sliced bacon and then completely wrapped in the bacon, top/bottom/sides and ends. I like to put it in the freezer for a while to make it stay wrapped and in shape and then bake it on a wire cookie/cake cooling pan. And I cook it till the bacon is crispy. If you have trouble with the bacon pulling away from the loaf then it can be wrapped in Foil and baked until the bacon is "set" then remove the foil to finish crisping it up.

Looks like a great fit for a Backpack to Me.
