The funniest part about the Dukakis in a tank episode was the stenciled MIKE DUKAKIS on a piece of masking tape on the helmet.

It is exactly the type of thing a mother would do when sending her child to first grade. I remember my own mother writing my name on masking tape to put on my raincoat and boots on rainy days.

It’s also the first thing we do (or did) on day 1-1 of boot camp. Stencil our name on every article of clothing we are issued. Including underwear, socks, towels, etc.
