The incident of slapping a seven-year old Muslim student by his classmates on the instructions of their Hindu teacher has sparked widespread outrage.
The video of the incident, which took place in the Muzaffarnagar district in Uttar Pradesh, shows the boy fearfully standing in front of his classmates as the teacher calls on students to hit him.
The boy cries as his classmates take turns to slap him, while the teacher is heard telling the students to do it properly. A man can be heard laughing as the boy wails while the slapping continues.
Police in the district have registered a case against the teacher and an investigation is underway.
The boy’s father told media that his son felt restless and scared after the incident. He said now the boy has been admitted to another school.
The incident has caused widespread anger and upset in India, where the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s Hindu nationalist policies have deepened the country’s communal tensions and created an atmosphere of fear and alienation among minority groups.
Prominent opposition politician Rahul Gandhi accused the teacher of sowing the poison of discrimination in the minds of innocent children. He also blamed the BJP for stoking religious intolerance. He said this is the same kerosene spread by the BJP which has set every corner of India on fire.
A study noted a massive rise in the hate crimes against all minorities between 2014 and 2018, following the BJP’s election victory.

What? The student was not told to chop the muslim student’s head off. The reverse situation is often true with no news mewling over it at all.
The boy just happened to be Muslim.
What is wrong with people? I’ll bet crap like this has been going on forever but now, with cameras everywhere we are just seeing it.
A student assistant told me a few years ago that in her native India there is ongoing anger between Hindus and Muslims. She (a Hindu) said “the Muslims swore if they could just have Pakistan as their home state they would end their terrorism and sabotage. Just give us Pakistan.” Then, “Just give us Bangladesh” and George Harrison got the celebrities to campaign for funding to Relieve Bangladesh. It never stops.”
She said the Hindus react strongly and get “really mad” at terrorism by Muslims. I said “We get angry in America, too.”
She laughed and said “Not like us. When the Muslims set fire to a bus last month and burned the people inside alive, afterward people came up to Muslim drivers around the city, pulled them out of their cars and beat them to death so the police could barely identify them. That is anger.”
Bangladesh was East Pakistan until West Pakistan starting killing tons of East Pakistanis, I guess to prevent independence.
This sounds like propaganda pushed by muzzies in Pakistan to stir up revenge incidents. That doesn’t mean that nothing happened to the child or that a slapfest would be ok. But it does not warrant the mass slaughter the propagandists desire.
Dim bulb teacher gonna start another massacre.
Aren’t their videos showing muslims how to properly beat their wives, how to apply makeup so that the bruises don’t show and how to honor kill females???
But slap one muslim kid and all hell breaks loose.
