I agree that there is a lot of emotional hype that causes uninformed people to jump to conclusions.
I would like to review the actual documentation. I’ve had several graduate level courses in research methodology and design, so I’m somewhat familiar with what should be done. I also taught statistics at the University many years ago.
When I first saw this article, I forwarded the link to a close friend with a PhD in statistics who retired from a career doing drug testing and consulting for the pharmacuitical industry.
We’ve been friends for many years and she refused to take the vaccines after spending days reviewing the drug testing information Pfizer released at the time of approval. She listened to the hearings and decided that the testing broke so many rules and protocols that it was not valid.
She’s my go to, to sort fact from fiction. I’m a retired researcher, married to a physician, and from a family of physicians. I live between two major medical schools,(wife is on the faculty) and I attend grand rounds regularly.
Two of my children are microbiologists who worked for big pharma, Merck and Novo Nordisk.
It’s hard to sort fact from fiction in this whole nightmare of misinformation. I try my best to look at both sides and not make emotional decisions.

When the news got out, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office rushed to put out a statement saying he died of “natural causes” in his sleep. Of course. they didn’t define what those natural causes were, (heart attack?) but by the CDC rules, since he died before the second shot he was ‘unvaccinated’. So, all good.
When this happened, at the beginning of the vax push, I said “nope.” To me, it was the only rational decision.
