Secession won’t be as easy as states leaving this time around. The cities will go blue, while the rest of the states will go mostly red. Just look at election maps by counties. The blue states will have to deal with controlling vast areas of the countryside, while the red states will have to deal with impoverished urban areas. It won’t be pretty.

Virginia would need to split again - those rich men north of Richmond are part of the problem, not the solution. Perhaps South Virginia though...

Actually, most states could simply discard their big blue cities and we’d have true America represented. I say put a fence around them and deploy appropriate weaponry to eliminate the stain that they represent.
