Very good questions. No one is asking why Buell Theater has video surveillance.
We are watching Person Of Interest.. makes me wonder how many cameras there are.
But it also makes me question her values and her choices. There are eyes everywhere.

The similarities to Peewee Herman crossed my mind as well. If memory serves, he did it to kill off his on-screen persona for good.
Not that I would’ve recommended that he take the course of action he did, it worked.
