The Rock Islands are pretty good (now Armscor I think).
The only complaint I have about the Tisas is that they are made in Turkey.

I have a Tisas. I did a little polishing of internals, as I always do (before the canoe accident, of course) and ended up swapping out the main spring. Nothing extraordinarily light, but the one in the guy from the factory was very stiff. The slide spring was fine, but pushing the hammer back was very hard.
Also swapped out the rear sight due to hitting high on the target.
And fitted a longer trigger in there, to match my longish fingers.
It shoots great now. Love tweaking these things.
