The weak case against Paxton explains the secretive nature and rushed presentation by Phelan and friends. If things were done properly the evidence would not have gotten them this far. They may not be too smart but they are feckless and useful tools for the powers behind the office.
I know. And I don’t get how this baseless impeachment is not based on a Coup in plain sight, perpetrated by the self-righteous staff who conjectured they were not only heroes, vut that and that their “righteous” anger and insubordination should trump both the law and the statute for Ken Paxton’s singular authority. I will never understand how it all wasn’t a coup.🙇♀️
