Because they need a 2/3rds majority to impeach, Paxton needs 10 Senators to vote for keeping him and he stays AG. His wife is not allowed to vote in the process per earlier legal agreement amongst the Senators.

It’s going to come down to the Senators fears of the public awareness of the Bush involvement in setting this up (one example: The Michael Berry Show daily discussing and broadcasting a citizen journalist who uncovered the connections between Paul, George P, the General Land office, Pennyback private equity, Sutton office, etc) versus the Bushwack Crime families $$, connections and perceived influence.

I can tell you the Bush influence over the voters is lost and was evident when both Neal Bush and George P were trounced in their respective Repub primaries. The people here have rejected the “next generation”. We know the direction where the stench is coming from.
