My Bourke’s Parrot is pink and considerably smaller than Lalei, but every bit as well taken care of by his loyal human. Heh. Wish I could master the art of posting pics ....

It is not widely know that Benjamin Franklin's two spinster aunts were famous ornithologists, renowned for their parrots. There was even a popular play written about them. Everyone in colonial America enjoyed The Parrots of Ben's Aunts.
