“The Federal Emergency Management Agency said Friday it has pledged more than $5.6 million in aid to nearly 2,000 households in Maui so far to assist survivors of the destructive wildfires.
Agency officials also announced it is offering a one-time payment of $700 per household to help assist survivors with essentials, including clothing, food, and transportation.”
From The Washington Times, 9/4/23:
“The United States has given about $77 billion in aid to Ukraine so far. That aid falls into several categories: humanitarian aid ($4 billion), financial aid ($26 billion) and weapons, training and logistics ($47 billion). President Biden has asked Congress to approve an additional $24 billion when it returns in September.”
