I suspect how man and God view both power and goodness differ immensely. Not to mention man doesn’t have God’s context or perspective. Are you really trying to box God in with that question? Talk about hubris.

It’s a good point you make.

We have only our own view to work with. Our own view shows we can choose right or wrong. It shows us God gave us this choice, and that he gave it to other beings he created.

I think this is all we need to answer the question of evil, but I could be overlooking something.

My agnosticism is based not on a lack of appreciation for the boundless wonders of life and the universe. It is based on man’s lack of knowledge thereof.

To me, religious believers are the ones with hubris - claiming to know so much that can’t be known. Their arguments always boil down to… “if there is no God, then how do you explain [_______]? That’s the point - I can’t explain it and neither can you.
