What was predestined was the plan of Salvation.

God knew man kind would fall, causing Him to send His only Begotten Son to be a sacrifice for sin.

Through the fall, sin entered.

Without Sin, would the world have remained pristine and perfect?

Does Sin cause natural catastrophes?

Did Christ's sacrifice eliminate natural catastrophes?

If not: WHY not?
