Thoughts?
I’ve been asking myself the same questions for a while. Should I continue the supplements? Discontinue them? Did they do any good?
Since we have a direct A-B test with me and my wife (I forgot to mention our unvaxxed daughter and son-in-law were on the cruise and they also caught it), I’m starting to lean toward discontinuing.
I normally got at least one cold per year for decades. I went from February 2019 to August 2024 without a single cold. I started the supplements April 2020. I think a lot of that was probably due to me retiring in 2019 and getting out of the office as well as greatly increased hand washing and avoiding touching my face, eyes, nose and mouth. After retiring, we have not been to places with huge concentrations of people. We have been to maybe a dozen shows with up to a couple thousand people since 2019 including some during the pandemic.
The cruise was the first time being in an event with 4,000 people.
I discontinued the supplements about ten days ago when my weekly pill planners ran out.
I cannot find any information or studies anywhere that have endeavored to answer the basic question: do supplements do any good?
See: Dr. Schuelte MEDCRAM youtube continuing med education.
Full explanantion of the covid infection modality— and what to take to prevent. DAILY, and with 7 hours minimum of good sleep.
ACE blockers prescription added if hypertensive. Losartan or candesartan or.. ACE inhibitor like quinapril if tolerating.
Daily don’t miss supplements. Not “all those” the specific ones in the correct dosages. From the cme MEDCRAM used to be #45 from 2020== may be renumbered or... censored. They absolutely censored Dr. Marick of the Univ. of VA Norfolk treatment protocol— which is outrageous. Can still find the protocol— and it works very well.
signed dr. kildare so to speak. No quack I.
