Not off hand, I'll have to search my archives. Maybe AZLiberty has something readily available. But know this, western medicine is going to poo poo niacin because it's super cheap and highly effective for a lot more than just raising HDL levels. The reason I take it is for inflammation elimination. If you can FEEL it working in your joints and muscles, imagine what it's doing for your internal organs. Inflammation is the bottom line killer for many ailments, and it's best to reduce it as a fundamental exercise. What'll happen is one day you'll bend down and expect that joint pain and it's just not there. Taking niacin changed my gait. Now I don't have to worry about further hip or knee problems because I'm walking all messed up.
Preaching to the choir here. I’m taking niacin once again, whenever I remember. 1 gram doses. Flush is pleasant, and promotes great sleep when taken at night. I’m just asking for a friend who I’d love to see get off statin drugs. Her trust in pHarma is gradually lessening. I wish it would move more quickly, but will take any step in the right direction as positive. 😉
My .02 on flush niacin. My doctor put me on a statin drug for high cholesterol. Since I have been following the Q threads, I knew that statins could have bad side effects, so I started taking 500mg flush niacin instead. My doctor was very pleased with how the “statin” had lowered my cholesterol, and I never mentioned the real reason. Since niacin is working so well, I am looking into other natural remedies. I just wish that I had ducked into Tractor Supply when I tested positive for the coof and picked up some horse paste.
