A switch up >

“Texas border” and “invasion” . . .

We’ve heard that Texas has their own standing army apart from the National Guard.
Where are they?
Why has Abbott not activated them to protect the Great State of Texas?
Do they really exist?
Here is a link that describes the 18-mile wide area between the Mexican border and our southern states.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roosevelt_Reservation
This gives the US Federal Government ‘their space’, and, by deduction, sets up the Texas ‘border’ and becomes their line of demarcation by which to defend themselves from all threats.

Thoughts?

EMP Threat >

Oct 4 is the date that the Emergency Broadcast System Test is scheduled to occur.

There are a lot of ‘theories’ about what this is all about.

“Some” say that there will be an EMP (electromagneticpulse) attack that could conceivably fry cell phones, computers, all other electrical devices relying on microchips, including your vehicles and electrical grid systems.

I have been asked to make a 30 minutes presentation on EMP’s this Saturday.

There is a “TON” on info about the whole subject and looks like of both redundant and overload info on the whole subject.

Anyone have any ‘suggestions’ to a ‘good explanation’ to a mixed audience of ‘those in the know’ and ‘those who don’t have a clue’...

Thanks.

We've heard that Texas has their own standing army apart from the National Guard.

Are you talking about an army, or, the Texas Rangers?

Texas Rangers are investigative, and, fall under the TX Dept of Public Safety, their duties are:

The duties of the Texas Ranger Division consist of conducting criminal and special investigations; apprehending wanted felons; suppressing major disturbances; the protection of life and property; and rendering assistance to local law enforcement in suppressing crime and violence.

The Texas Ranger Division is also responsible for the gathering and dissemination of criminal intelligence pertaining to all facets of organized crime. The Texas Ranger Division joins with all other enforcement agencies in the suppression of the same; under orders of the Director, suppress all criminal activity in any given area, when it is apparent that the local officials are unwilling or unable to maintain law and order; also upon the request or order of a judge of a court of record,

Texas Rangers may serve as officers of the court and assist in the maintenance of decorum, the protection of life, and the preservation of property during any judicial proceeding; and provide protection for elected officials at public functions and at any other time or place when directed. The Texas Rangers, with the approval of the Director, may conduct investigations of any alleged misconduct on the part of other Department of Public Safety personnel.

Or, the Texas Military Forces, who's authority is:

Texas Military Forces exist under civilian control. Since 1903, Texas Military Forces are authorized by Title 32 of the United States Code and Article 4 of the Texas Constitution to “execute the laws of the State, to suppress insurrections, and to repel invasions.Texas Army National Guard and Texas Air National Guard units are also subject to Title 10 of the United States Code, which legally empowers the United States government to mobilize them when more resources are needed than available in the United States Armed Forces for war, national emergency, or national security.[24] Under Title 10, operations are conducted under command of the United States Department of Defense by the Secretary of Defense.

Or....maybe there's another, TX ‘standing army’ that I am not aware of. 🤷‍♀️
