Yes....and, as someone on the thread mentioned....school board members are VOTED on ... do your due diligence on learning about each candidate.
I know it’s not always easy (leftists lie, etc), but....worth the time to see who/what these candidates are all about.
I’ve canvassed and campaigned, for several. Worth that effort, as well.
