He caught a lot of the moles and had their nails filed down to the skin. They couldn't dig so they died. He made rubber stocking for all the cats to be able to walk in wet grass and wet areas hungry looking for food. They took care of the mice. Its quite an interesting different type of book. His faithful dog Bulger is with him all the time.
