Ours paid in full too. I haven't been to a Walmart or Meijer since before COVID. I refused to wear a mask.(actually I can't wear one..asthma) But it actually started when both commented that they didn't want people to carry inside. I never felt safe there again. Thanks for the info. I'll give them a try for sure.

Same thing here. Back when the credit cards paid 2% and checking accounts paid one I would joke that the credit cards were our best investment. But it’s just so much easier to not deal with checks. Debit cards make me nervous.

Aldi’s was the only place I was really happy to see the self checkout. I don’t like to see anybody not get a job but some of the cashiers at Aldi’s would throw things in the basket, trying to be fast. They actually got timed. I would look around and find the ones that I knew would be gentle with my purchases and wait in line for them. Now if something breaks it’s my own fault
