During our 50th HS Reunion I was in OK - foot /ankle mending. Jim picked me up at air port n I stayed with him and His mom 5days .
One of first days I had something to repair. Think it was luggage. Asked to use his Philips screwdriver. Said he didn’t have one
Me -what? How does anyone not have a Philips screwdriver? How do you fix things?
I don’t. Have repairman. I was shocked again.
He retired private pilot . Jets. Around world He retired at 60 and never flew or traveled again
