Claws could be an issue.
I just got the kitten's new heat mat in, it's made of plastic that you blow up a little. I think for comfort. Not sure if it's a great idea with cats. But it does get nice and warm so we will give it a try. It has a nice velour covering and I can put a thin blanket on top if needed.
Here they are with my purchase of a few days ago, it's a small heated mat for use in pet beds. So I put it on the cat condo since that's their favorite place. They are now ignoring the heated mat on the floor. I'm hoping mom will start using it. The new heated mat is for a house with a 2nd floor balcony I got them. I hope it's as cute as the pictures show. I think it will be fun for them and it will be warmer inside when the nights get colder. I hope.
