The trial of former Trump aide Peter Navarro is set to begin next week, where a judge and jury will rule on contempt charges he faces for alleged non-compliance with a subpoena from the House Select Committee on January 6. Jury selection in the United States of America v Peter Navarro is set to begin in Washington, DC on Tuesday.

Democratic Massachusetts Gov. Maura Healey is deploying 250 National Guard troops to help with the state’s migrant crisis, she said in a statement Thursday.
The National Guard troops will support migrants living in emergency shelter hotels, according to the statement. The state currently has 6,000 families, including children and pregnant women in its care.
