Brick warned that the Israel Defense Forces have turned into a primarily air-based military, and criticized the army leadership for its sensitivity to human losses on the ground. “The current situation of the land forces is tragic, they are not ready for war. Emergency supplies are not available, exercises have stopped and the battalions have not trained in years. There is also no weapons training and education, and the army is not capable of carrying out an attack.” The former ombudsman added that technology alone is not enough to win wars. “The truth is that an imaginary reality has been created by the general staff and spread throughout the army. The soldiers have lost their motivation and fighting spirit in recent years, and many are not ready to go into battle.”

Barring some calamity that I am not aware of, Mike Johnson will be the next Speaker of the House and it should be done by about 3:00pm ET.
This guy is apparently loved by everyone in the conference, we’ve just never really heard of him because he doesn’t run to cameras - he puts his head down and gets stuff done.
That’s the kind of Speaker we want!

THE GOVERNMENT DILEMMA:
They hate us but need us to keep creating the wealth they like to spread around the world and skim to fatten up their own bank accounts.
To the Big Shot government leftists the masses are pests - useless eaters and consumers using up wealth they could be giving to our enemies.
They would kill us off even faster than they are if they could figure out how to keep the wealth flowing without pesky patriots and Constitutionalists.
Maybe that is why they all get excited about A.I. and self aware Robotics.

I think you summed up what the train has derailed into.
We agree on 95%, but tensions in the country are affecting lots of people.
I don’t think a policy of scroll by posts you don’t like is working. For either side. Those demanding others scroll by posts are just as bad at NOT scrolling and making negative comments.
We can’t “scroll by” without reading first. We unfortunately can’t block posts by people we want to scroll by, so are stuck reading them anyway. You can’t see who the poster is until you get to the bottom of what they wrote. Unless it’s very short.
And this will keep happening. Until one side leaves. Then the content of the train will change. New posters show up who lean in that direction. Maybe that’s what some want. Maybe we should vote on the direction the train will take so posters know where they stand and can take their kitten pictures elsewhere. There’s no point in keep repeating the same arguments.
Speaking of which, you buy them a house with two floors and a balcony, put a nice heating pad in it, and they act like it’s a scary haunted house, refuse to go in it, and sleep out in the open on this teeny heating mat they are outgrowing! Cats! They obviously get their attitude y.oung

Grandson went to a Halloween Truck or Treat Party on Saturday night after a hockey game, a football game and pizza.
