Well Rusty. I you could see the “diversity” we have up here operating vehicles, etc., you wouldn’t give this a second thought.
A few years back, one of our celebrated “refuges” was driving a honkin’ huge dump truck at a very high speed. He decided to go over our Skyway Bridge (between Hamilton and Burlington). Well, said refuge had neglected to lower the back of the truck after he dumped whatever he was dumping....so the massive bin was up full-height. It did not go well.....terrible damage done to the bridge, put the whole area in shutdown (it’s a very major artery) not to mention ruining the truck. It costs the taxpayers a fortune. Whatever, we just tack it on to the fortune our “diversity is our strength” crowd racks up every day.

The plane has sucked a pigeon or another bird in his engine. Tjats a usual problem with turbines, because the turbine will be damaged dramatically by such “small” birds or other things. Imagine that a turbine works with >10.000 RPMs and any little damage will cause a total damage of the turbine....
That WAS an accident waiting to happen.
Definitely not the right kind of truck but a flatbed trailer.
The hives could have been strapped down with ties, but it didn’t look like they were.
I’ll bet the beekeeper is not very happy at the moment.
