I remember dear Rush explaining what happens to our side when they get to Washington. They just can’t handle not being part of the “in” crowd. They said it was a good sentence to type to cover many letters, and it sped up your skills. Personally, I think they were doing a bit of indoctrination at the same time lol. But it was good indoctrination, so I’m ok with that.
Yes - now it is imperative for people to get out there, make phone calls, run for office, help people running for office, all of the practical things that the grass roots do to help win elections! Oh! And for sure volunteer to do whatever can be done to ensure honest elections! That’s a biggie!
