We dropped off items at our local Salvation Army today. The guy was thrilled and said they were in desperate need of all sizes of clothing. He wanted us to tell everyone we knew.

We've gone many times before today and NEVER have they ever this this to us. Usually there's stacks and stacks of items all around to be stored inside. It was bare today.

Of course @LeaderMcConnell would say that. He is the reason why the Senate is so gridlocked. Again Mitch stopped fighting for the American people along time ago.

Someone let @LeaderMcConnell know (or his comms director since that’s who is writing his tweets) we don’t take orders from the Senate and he should stay in his lane.

I think local. Every time time we have a bad storm they are the FIRST to arrived with items and FOOD. Word gets around in our towns.

Supplies in a backpack is very big here for our children and young students. Free lunches during the summer and before classes breakfast. Free dinner meals are served all around our town every night at different churches. So I'd say these items stay in our area. There are free food areas all over Indiana. Our area has had several families of Mexicans for the past 15 years. Local restaurants and other stores all have help wanted signs in their windows.

When our economy started sinking a lot of the Mexicans left and went back home. Owners have commented because most were hard workers, Catholic churches and schools filled up. It was the opposite of what we had expected actually.
