I’ve heard good things about Cody, WY. Matter of fact I located a decently priced apartment complex that would fall into my price range. How are the winters there? I’ve heard that Cody can be really dry most of the year.

I visited in fall. My understanding of Wyoming winters is that they are brutal. There are reasons why the state is lightly populated.

We visited Wyoming on one vacation and nearly got blown out of the state by the high winds—in October.
The wind chills during the winter have to be ridiculous.
