Wind and Solar combine for only 6%. It looks like lots of money and economic damage for little gain.
"...the whole thing is just an artifact of a shrinking economy, largely itself caused by the destructive build-out of the wind and solar facilities. They are destroying their economy, and have almost nothing to show for two decades and hundreds of billions of dollars invested in the useless wind and solar farms..."
But that absolutely, 100% will not stop them from trumpeting it as a success.
I think that they should put small windmills all over their EVs. That way the blades will spin while they drive and they will never need to stop to recharge.
My first thought was what does it cost? Even if net zero is attainable, which has yet to be proven on a large scale, will it be affordable, or will only the John Kerrys and Klaus Schwabs be able to afford it? With the rest of us to be confined in the 15 minute gulags? In the new world, we should ask “what could go right?”
Force unreliable and expensive “green” power on the citizens. Drive them to the point of bankruptcy, where people are living in the dark. Then claim some sort of victory from that.
Sounds like and evil leftist BS plan.

Wind power is a complete disaster

"There is no evidence that industrial wind power is likely to have a significant impact on carbon emissions. The European experience is instructive. Denmark, the world’s most wind-intensive nation, with more than 6,000 turbines generating 19% of its electricity, has yet to close a single fossil-fuel plant. It requires 50% more coal-generated electricity to cover wind power’s unpredictability, and pollution and carbon dioxide emissions have risen (by 36% in 2006 alone)."
Even better is more than half of Germany is non German.
"Electricity Production" is not the same as "Electricity Needs". They may be importing from EU neigobors.
LOL...we laugh, but don’t think it hasn’t occurred to them.
1. According to the German Association of Energy and Water Industries (BDEW), the current electricity price in Germany is 31.94 cents per kWh (as of July 2021)
2. However, in summer 2022, the average price per kWh was 50 cents. Households in Germany on average paid 40.07 cents per kilowatt hour (kWh) in the second half of 2022, compared to 32.16 ct/kWh in the previous year
3. The price of electricity for households in Germany is 0.617 U.S. Dollar per kWh, which includes all components of the electricity bill such as the cost of power, distribution, and taxes.

My last electric bill (for all components in the bill) was $0.20/kWh.
Forests in North Carolina are being chopped down, ground up and the chips are sailed across the Atlantic to Germany where they are burned for Green Biomass Energy.
Burning forests to save the Planet.
The renewables they’re tearing down to mine the dirtiest coal known to coalmen?
The Krauts pay 3x more per KW-Hr.
