On that basis, gullible investors bought stock in Vivek’s new drug company which had a small staff of mostly his family members. Vivek promised a new clinical trial of the drug. He waited and waited to begin the trial. Then he dumped the stock and announced that the trial had failed, knowing all along that the thing was a scam. He renamed his company afterward.
That’s the gist of the report I heard. I think the guy is a snake oil salesman. Why any Republican is backing this fraud is beyond me. His debate performance was just that, a performance.
