The reason to use Signal is because it is a end-to-end, point-to-point, encrypted communication app. If they hacked his communication, that is frightening in itself, it undermines the very reason to use it. They also had better produce the warrant it was done under.
It’s possible they have other channels to monitor on the other end but we should be asking some serious questions here. I’ll wait for our R’s to start digging.....and die of old age in the process.
